Description

Acalypha indica L. can grow up to 1.5 m tall. The stem is hairy. The leaves are arranged in a spiral, ovate, rhombic to ovate, or ovate to lanceolate shape, the leaf tip is acute, the leaf base is cuneate, and the leaf edge is crenate to serrate, has five veins starting from the leaf base, pubescent along the midrib and the main vein of the leaf on both sides of the leaf surface. The petiole is quite long. The flower clusters are axillary, spicate type. The male flowers have four ovate sepals while the female flowers have three triangular sepals. The fruit is a capsule, small in size, has three lobes, and is covered with bracts. The seeds are ovoid, smooth surface, gray in color, and have a white hilum.

Usage

Kucing galak can improve men's internal health, treat coughs, vomiting blood, bloody urine, cleanse the kidneys, control blood glucose levels, lower blood cholesterol levels, and lower high blood pressure.
