Pegaga is traditionally used for asthma, bronchitis, diarrhea, dizziness, epilepsy, jaundice, nervous disorder and toothache (British Herbal Pharmacopoeia 1979, Medicinal Plants in Viet Nam 1990, Seevaratnam et al. 2012). Pegaga has been considered as the best herb for improving memory and intellect (Arora et al. 2002).
